Who Are We?

We have a very exciting story to tell. Our local Church's heritage is a story of profound faith, sacrifice, and great joy. While we are grateful for our storied past, we minister in the present with an optimistic vision for the future. To learn more about us click here. If you are specifically interested in our articles of faith, simply click on "What We Believe" from the list of menu items on the left. If you're in a hurry (and who isn't these days?), the essentials are briefly discussed below.

Our Denomination is currently celebrating 100 years of ministry worldwide. This is a very exciting time to be part of The International Church of the Nazarene! Clickthe logo on the right for more information.

We Are Protestant Christians

We are an Evangelical Protestant Christian Church in the Wesleyan tradition. The historical Holiness Movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries gave birth to the Church of the Nazarene. Part of our distinction has always been a strong emphasis on being filled with the Holy Spirit, victorious living, and compassion on those who may have less than ourselves.

We Believe in Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, and that through His shed blood we may have forgiveness, and be born again.

We Believe in Evangelism

We believe that once our sins have been forgiven and we have accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, it then becomes our privilege to share this "good news" with a hurting world, thereby offering a message of hope to our community.
